Dr Nuala Watt holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow on the role of partial sight in poetics. She is a member of the Clydebuilt poetry mentoring scheme. Her poems have appeared in Magma and Gutter as well as on BBC Radio 3 and in the webzine Jacket2. Poems also recently appeared in Be The First To Like Thi,s an anthology of new Scottish poetry.
Her pamphlet Dialogue On The Dark was published by Calder Wood Presss in December 2015. She is currently working on a series of poems exploring mediaeval conceptions of blindness as preparation for a University of Glasgow conference on the history of the senses, which is due to take place in July 2016.
