Lila is especially interested in poetry which works experimentally across mediums and modes, and collaborative processes which may lead to new attention to forms and presentation of writing. Recent collaborative works with visual artists include the video ‘strawflower’ with Adam Butcher, and the performance piece ‘rocks’ with Rocio von Jugenfeld which was staged at the Edinburgh Art Festival. Lila is currently undertaking a practice-based PhD project at the Edinburgh College of Art which explores how poetics may be expanded through a series of engagements with artists working with sculpture, digital media, and sound.
